2015 Tree-planting Wrap-up!

Tronox Corporate Planting Day – 27th June.

The wetland on the Landcare Centre property was fenced off earlier in the year in preparation for the planting undertaken by the 100 plus staff and families of Tronox. The 2000 seedlings were also guarded in an effort to at least slow the kangaroo predation down.

River Rangers – 1st and 2nd of July.

Over 8000 seedlings were planted over two days at the Bullsbrook Bridle Trail. Roughly 100 students who participate in the Swan River Trust River Rangers program from five schools came out each day. They were treated with a sausage sizzle and juice box. Thank you to Linley from the Swan River Trust who coordinates these planting days.
