Kayaking Nature Tour – **Check Updated Info**

**UPDATE** ALL KAYAK HIRE SPOTS ARE NOW FILLED – There are still a few spots left for non-hire attendance but booking and payment is still required prior to the day. Admission to the event is strictly limited to those who have booked and had confirmation of their places….No Exceptions.
Come and discover this beautiful lake hidden in our own backyard. We will kayak around the lake and learn about the special birds that use this lake as a breeding ground (Booklet for identification provided) We will also learn about the history of the lake, the other wildlife that live there, and what has been done to protect this lake of national significance.
Spots are limited, so please register your interest early. There are 5 double kayaks available for hire and we will be running three (3) sessions. If you want to join in with your own kayak, we have limited extra spots available
Kids who are keen to come for a paddle, must be over 10 years old, and book a kayak to share with an adult.
Your guide for this workshop will be Mike Bamford.
Session 1: 10:00 – 11:30am
Lunch: 11.30 – 12pm
Session 2: 12:00pm – 1:30pm
Late Lunch: 1.30 – 2pm
Session 3: 2 – 3:30pm
You will need to bring: water bottle, hat, sunscreen and a small amount of fitness. Lifejackets will be provided.
*The cost of this workshop is $30 per adult $20 per child. If you are bringing your own kayak, the cost is $15/adult $10/child.
No member concessions. BBQ lunch will be provided.
