SUMMARY:Kayaking Nature Tour
DESCRIPTION:Come and discover this beautiful lake hidden in our own backyard. We will kayak around the lake and learn about the special birds that use this lake as a breeding ground. We will also learn about the history of the lake\, the other wildlife that live there\, and what has been done to protect this lake of national significance. \nSpots are limited\, so please register your interest early.  There are 6 double kayaks\, and we will be running two sessions\, one before and one after lunch. \nFor kids who are keen to come for a paddle\, you must be over 10 years old\, and book a kayak to share with an adult.  If you want to join in on your own kayak\, we have limited extra spots available. \nFirst Kayak Group: 10:30am\nLunch for both groups: 12noon\nSecond Kayak Group: 1pm\nFinish: 2:30pm \nYou will need to bring:  water bottle\, hat\, sunscreen and a small amount of fitness.  Lifejackets will be provided. \n*The cost of this workshop is $15 per person.  If you are bringing your own kayak\, the cost is $10 per person.  A BBQ lunch will be provided. \nEarly RSVP’s are essential for this workshop.  Please email bonny.dunlop@iinet.net.au or call 9571 0400. \n \n*If inclement weather is forecast\, this event will be rescheduled for 24th September. \n
